Many libraries in the United States have been embracing the use of Social Networking tools to enhance services to library patrons. Libraries have to implement a wide variety of these tools like Face book, MySpace, Ning, Blogs, Wikis, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Flicker, Library Thing and so on which indirectly results in a better promotion of the Library services thus adapting their users ‘needs and increases the number of users of information resources.
