To survive in present scenario the users should have knowledge about digital literacy which comes through experience. It is a lifelong learning process of capacity building for using digital technology, communication tools and/or networks in creating, accessing, analyzing, managing, integrating, evaluating, and communicating information in order to function in a knowledge based economy and society . Digital literacy enhanced the information retrieval, utilization, evaluation and creation of new knowledge. The basic purpose of the study to explore the awareness and impact of digital literacy among the research scholars in the field of library and information science of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University. This paper highlighted the use of devices, internet access, awareness and impact of digital literacy on Research scholars.
