The data for the study has been downloaded from the Scopus Database. The study discusses the yearly research outputs, authorship pattern, citation pattern, prolific authors and their citation pattern, highly cited articles and most preferred form of publications by the researchers. There are 7882 publications during the study period and multi-authored publications outnumbered single authored contri butions. The publica tions yielded 18617 citations and the study finds that author Ishiguro, H. was the most productive author with 83 publications to his credit. Wells J.C.K. has got highest number of 175 citations for his article in 2007.
