It indicate the, purpose of reading, preference of language, library collection, assistance from the library staff in the use of resources and services to meet necessary help to users their information requirements. In this paper discussed about the reading habits of Rural People. A total of 162 interview schedule were collected among the Rural People in Public Library. Out of 162, 41(25.31%) are preferred the cinema/entertaining news.
