It highlights the usage of periodicals among the faculty members. The objective of usage of periodicals in general, preference on various periodicals and preference on language of periodicals are used by faculty in searching the relevant information are studied in the paper. It reports the results from a questionnaire-based survey of periodical usages at autonomous college libraries in Trichy. The study covers structured questionnaires of open- ended questions, and the number of respondents are 564 out of 600 faculty members.
