| College libraries are the most accessed libraries in academic field. Libraries are not only source of information to the students but also their main source of knowledge. The collection in college libraries helps the students to get merits in their academic carrier and it lessens the burden of purchasing the costly graduate books from the market. It acts as radar to guide the future of the students. A college which has a good collection of books and articles always attracts the students to acquire more information about the requisite subject. Thus this paper tries to highlight the few conditions of college libraries in Siliguri Sub-division and the challenges faced by them.
