| This paper consists of role of library and librarian in educational development. Libraries are playing very important role in education and an educational institution. It can be considered as important as blood in body. Libraries are a hub of information, Books, journals, magazines physically as well as digitally/electronically. Libraries are the place which gives birth to success. This study shows that how libraries are supportive to educational institutions and helpful in smooth functioning of the institution. Library is only the passive factor. Librarian puts flow in library as librarian is active factor. Library is nothing without librarian. Librarian must be professionally skilled and competent as per the changing paradigm.
