The biggest result of automation is to save labor, energy, materials, and time to improve quality, accuracy and precision. Test automation can automate some repetitive but necessary tasks in systematic manner. In this paper we discuss about the generalized automated engine test cell which gives facility to develop, characterize, test engines.
