The sample is faculty members of Mysore region engineering college libraries. A total of 1000 questionnaires were distributed to all the faculty members of these colleges. A sum of 760 responses was received. The objective of the study therefore is to assess the relationship between the four demogra- phic variables such as gender, age, educa- tional qualifications and designation with that users satisfac- tion about library collection by way of cross tabulating the values given by the user are shown in different tables. It may be seen from the table that, there is a significant difference (X2=274.645; P<.000) in case the satisfaction of ‘National print journals’.
