Public library communicates information and endeavours to make people informed which is of utmost importance for the effective functioning of democracy. A wide range reading opens one’s windows to outside of the nation, as well as the whole world of knowledge, making a citizen free from his narrow attitude and outlook. Public libraries are the only possible neutral agencies to give unbiased political, educational, economic, cultural, social, and industrial information. |
