In every region of the world form developing countries to industrialized countries, develop national and local governments with critical information on-line, and the mechanism used to simplify the complex processes that were by and interact electronically with their citizens. The widespread definition of electronic or digital government is the use of information and communication technology to support the effectiveness of government services and dealing with citizen's better and easier way, and to allow access to the greatest amount of information, and make government itself more responsive to the wishes of the citizens. This present study provides an insight regarding the theoretical assumptions about e- government and the role of public libraries as service providers in E-Government systems.
